At our September meeting we Added two new members: Bryce hill from Delta. Bryce models primarily in HoN3 and likes operating , scenery, and working on locomotives. He has been a participating in several clubs. Chris Kodel is a native Grand Junction Member. He primarily models N and HO. He is interested in all areas of model railroading. When you first join the club, you join as a probationary member. After six months you are voted into the club as a full time member. We went through the membership list and voted on all probationary members (of at least 6 mo) to make them full time members. The G scalers are upgrading their mining area, changing from the existing O scale to G scale. With all the recent windy days, they have also been kept busy trying to keep the layout clean and operational. We voted to update the by laws. On Monday October 8, we will nominate and elect new officers. At the present time I know of only one nomination. Mark Tauber is rerunning for vice president. Due to health and other reasons, I will not run for the office of president. Any person that is elected to the office will have my full support and help! I have been a member of the club since 1995. I have served as an officer for 25 of those years. I have done so because I believe in the club. It’s a great club made up of so many good members with different levels of enthusiasm. Now you have the chance to take that enthusiasm to a different level by running for office. Through all these years I have worked to support you and the club, as you have supported me. At this time I ask you to support me by running for office.
