It's amazing to me how fast this month has gone. Earlier this month we participated in the National Train Day at the Grand Junction Depot. In addition to visiting with many people we Put the N Scale layout on display. After a lot of qwork that Asher Tangreen did on it, it ran well! On Thursdays members have been keeping busy on scenery, electronics. Repair, and the last two weeks building the needed trains for operations. WE still have another two weeks worth of work. Once all of the trains are built, we will start operations. The G scalers have changed to thjeir summer hours. They are now meeting on Thursday mornings from 9 – 12.Tom Bubolz passed away this month. A service for him will be held at the Fruita Community center, Thursday June 6 at 1:30 pm. The fourth Saturday of this month, we will have the layouts open to the publis at the Cross Orchards farmers market from 9 -12.Mickey
