This last month has been a very busy month. Terry has been giving clinics on doing scenery. Following the clinics, members have broken up and applied their knowledge and skills to the Montrose Island. Much has been accomplished! Another group has been working at getting the track on the layout cleaned. Some people have been working at getting the final track laid in the yards and industrials area of Montrose. With the track in place, Jim Hall has been with yet another group installing the Tortoise machines for the turnouts, installing track power and starting to build new control panels for the area. Asher Tangreen has taken on the project of repairing the yard track on the N- Scale layout. WE have about 2 weeks to work on these items and then we need to get everything cleaned up for visitors.Nicholas Johnson is coming over from Boulder with members of their club to see the layout. To date, here is the latest schedule for school tours at Cross.Date Time StudentsApril 17 10:00-11:30 12April 19 10:00-11:30 12April 25 10:00-11:30 38April 26 10:00-11:30 20At our meeting last month, we accepted the final annual audit, and we approved a budget for the upcoming year.Thank you everyone for your help.
