After a month of Christmas Shows, we are now trying to get back into normalcy again. We had our monthly meeting but I missed it due to surgery, and other officers were unable to make it for various reasons. Mark ran the meeting and Jim was present. Many new suggestions were made during the meeting and we are trying to implement many of them. Several committees are being formed: Montrose Island, Montrose town and structures, Grand Junction scenery and structures. A activity - social committee, electrical committee and an operations committee. We are getting ready to start some needed clinics. WE have upgraded our decoder pro programming station, and we have a new NCE command station that is being set up.We have had another 3 new memberships since December. WE are running trains for fun until sometime in February. The G Scalers are taking a bit of a break and are waiting for some warmer weather. Some of us come to the club early Thursday afternoons. We use this time to do some work so we don't have to interrupt the evening session. At 4:30 we break up and some of us go to dinner somewhere and get back to the club about 6:30. Anyone is welcome. However we don't decide where we are going until we are about ready to leave.
If you enjoy running trains I would encourage you to come out Thursday evenings. Additionally, every second Monday of the month, we have our business meeting at 7:00. Come on out and give us your opinions. Mickey
