September has been a busy month for us. The G-scalers have been working and running trains every Thursday morning and every Saturday morning. The HO group have been at the farmers market running trains on on the 2nd and 4thSaturday. And have been doing operations on Thursday evenings. We had a great time at our barbecue, September 16th, with about 35 attending. The food was great and the socialization was even better. I personally want to thank Billy and Jamie Nelson for all the work they did putting it together. We had another new member, Nicholas Toutyes, join the club this month.A group of 6 or 7 people will be heading to Greeley to run trains on their layout Oct. 5 – 7.Every year we have a Christmas party for members and their family on the second Monday of December instead of a business meeting. We fenerally meet at a specific restaurant where we can order off the menu. In the past we have had around 40 in attendance. If you know of a restaurant that would work let us know as soon as possible.We have changed the days of our annual Christmas train show.We will no longer have it on the last Sunday of December. The show will be from 10:00 -4:00 on Dec. 9, 10 Dec. 16,23 Dec. 23, 24 and Dec. 30.At our October business meeting, we will elect officer for next year, Nominations will be open until we vote.
