At our last meeting, We voted to keep our dues at the present level of 50% for the upcoming year. , Cooper Rens and his family, are our newest members to join the club. Cooper is 12 and is filled with enthusiasm and excitement to be able to participate. Welcome to the club Cooper. We have been doing minimal operations for the last several weeks, but once we are ready for the Fall Days on the Farm, we will do more.What a month and more to come. As summer winds down fall takes over. Last Saturday a group of 20 traveled to Leadville to ride the historic Leadville Train. October 6th a group will travel to Greeley to visit their museum/layout to operate for several days and return on home on the 8th. If you are interested, contact Jim Hall at the club. The next several Thursdays, our emphasis is going to be cleaning up the club house in preparation for Cross Orchards “Fall day on the Farm” from 10:00 to 3:00. Plan on coming to the club and help with the event.Monday October 10th we have our annual meeting at the clubhouse at 7:00 PM. At this meeting we will vote on officers for the following year. Nominations will be taken at the meeting before the vote. Please join us for this meeting.Tuesday Oct 11 and Thursday Oct 13 from 9:45 – 12:00 we have school groups coming to see the trains.
