This past month has been a typical summer month with less activity and participation from our members. WE have been doing operations and some general running, but very little in the area of construction. We recently installed a new version of CATS (the program that control the dispatcher). WE now need to spend some time learning it. We are meeting on the 2nd and 4th Saturday to support Cross orchard with the Farmers Market. In doing so we are lucky to get 20 visitors to come in. This last Saturday we had 70+ visitors. It was fun spending time with them answering all of their questions and hearing their stories.
The club is planning a trip to ride the Historic Leadville train, Sunday Sept 25, at 2:00pm. The price of the ride for our group (and guests that are with us ): Adult Discount Price $43 & Child Discount Price $22.If you want to join us, there is a sign up list on the white board at the club. You must sign up by Sept 10. Once we know who is going and how many are going, we will put together car pooling.
We are also starting to organize our annual trip to Greeley.
